I. Overview of the 80GHz Radar Level Gauge:
80 GHz high-frequency radar level transmitter with a measurement range of up to 30 meters. The antenna has been further optimized, and the new high-speed microprocessor enables faster signal analysis and processing. This radar level gauge is suitable for complex measurement conditions such as rivers, lakes, shallow waters, solid materials, process vessels, or reactors in environments with heavy dust or prone to crystallization and condensation. The radar level antenna emits narrow microwave pulses that travel downward. When the microwaves reach the surface of the measured medium, they are reflected back and received again by the antenna system. The signal is then transmitted to the electronic circuitry, which automatically converts it into a level reading (since microwaves propagate at extremely high speeds, the time required for the electromagnetic wave to travel to the target and return to the receiver is nearly instantaneous).
II. Features of the 80GHz Radar Level Gauge:
1. Compact antenna size for easy installation; non-contact radar operation ensures no wear or contamination.
2. Virtually unaffected by corrosion or foam; minimally influenced by changes in atmospheric humidity, temperature, and pressure.
3. Performs well even in severely dusty environments.
4. Shorter wavelength provides better reflection from inclined solid surfaces.
5. Narrow beam angle concentrates energy, enhancing echo strength while helping avoid interference.
6. Reduced blind zone allows excellent performance even in small tanks.
7. High signal-to-noise ratio ensures superior performance even under fluctuating conditions.
8. High frequency makes it the preferred choice for measuring solids and low dielectric constant media.
9. Temperature compensation: real-time monitoring of internal electronics temperature with automatic drift correction.
Equipped with advanced microprocessors and unique echo processing technology, the radar level gauge can operate reliably under various challenging conditions. Operating in pulse mode, it features extremely low transmission power, enabling installation in both metallic and non-metallic containers without posing any harm to personnel or the environment.
