Functions of the Pull Rope Displacement Sensor:


1. Continuous monitoring of large sheet metal workpiece position: As metal workpiece sheets are conveyed on roller conveyors or moved laterally, the sensor continuously measures the distance traveled. The system tracks the sheet’s current coordinates in real time, enabling synchronized assembly line operations between preceding and subsequent processes (conveyance, inspection, and positioning);


2. Safety protection: The system stops immediately and triggers an alarm upon reaching the limit position, preventing cylinders from over-extending and slides from overtraveling and damaging the frame or rollers. Compared to mechanical hard stops, this reduces mechanical impact wear and lowers equipment failure rates;


3. Quality control: The sensor precisely controls lateral thrust and lifting displacement, ensuring that the correction position for each sheet is exactly consistent, eliminating manual adjustment errors, and improving the yield rate of finished products.
