Application Case of Miran KTR Self-Resetting Sensors in Casting Machines
KTR Series Spring-Return Resistive Gauges (also known as: Crack Meters, Crack Displacement Sensors, Electronic Gauges, Potentiometers, Displacement Sensors) Principle: Based on potentiometer principles, all sensors are position-measuring devices used in regulating systems (control systems) and measurement systems. They provide direct measurement of displacement and length, outputting DC voltage signals. Signals can also be converted into standard 0-5V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA DC signals via built-in or external V/A transmitter modules, enabling long-distance transmission for control requirements. KTR Series Spring-Return Resistive Gauges (also known as: Crack Meters, Crack Displacement Sensors, Electronic Gauges, Potentiometers, Displacement Sensors) output displacement variation: 0-100% of the specified input operating voltage (varying with displacement).
