What is the working environment of the linear displacement sensor

A linear displacement sensor works on the same principle as a sliding rheostat. It is used as a voltage divider, which presents the actual position of the measured position at a relative output voltage. There are several requirements for the work of this device:


Ⅰ、If the electronic ruler has been used for a long time, and the seal has been aged, and mixed with a lot of impurities, and the water mixture and oil will seriously affect the contact resistance of the brush, which will make the number displayed kept beating. At this time, it can be said that the electronic ruler of the linear displacement sensor has been damaged and needs to be replaced.

Ⅱ、If the capacity of the power supply is very small, there will be a lot of cases, so, the power supply needs to have sufficient capacity. Then, the capacity is insufficient, will cause the following situation: the movement of the glue makes the display of the mold electronic ruler, there are fluctuations, or the movement of the mold makes the display of the glue electronic ruler, resulting in a large error in the measurement results. If the driving power supply of the solenoid valve is together with the linear displacement sensor at the same time, it is more likely to appear the above situation, and the voltage fluctuation can even be measured with the voltage range of the multimeter. If the situation is not caused by high-frequency interference, electrostatic interference, or the neutrality is not good enough, then it is possible that the power of the power supply is too small.

Ⅲ、Frequency modulation interference and electrostatic interference are likely to make the linear displacement of the electronic ruler sensor display digital jump. The signal line of the electronic ruler should be separated from the strong electric line of the equipment. The electronic ruler must be mandatory, and the shell of the electronic ruler is in good contact with the ground. The signal line needs to use the shielding line, and the section of the electric box should be grounded with the shielding line. If there is high frequency interference, the voltage measurement using the multimeter is usually normal, but the number is beating, and static interference, the same as high frequency interference. To prove whether it is electrostatic interference, you can first use a section of power cord to short connect the lid screw of the electronic ruler with some metal on the machine, as long as a short connection, electrostatic interference will be immediately eliminated. But if you want to eliminate the high frequency interference, it is difficult to use the above method, frequency conversion electrical appliances and manipulator often appear high frequency interference, so you can try to stop the high frequency electrical appliances or manipulator method to verify whether it is high frequency interference.

Ⅳ、If the linear displacement sensor of electronic ruler in the process of working, at a certain point display data beat regularly, or is not display data, this situation will need to check the cable insulation is damaged phenomenon, and with the machine shell very regular contact and short circuit to the ground.


Ⅴ、The voltage of the power supply must be stable, the industrial voltage needs to meet the ±0.1% stability, for example, if the reference voltage is 10V, it can allow ± 0.01V fluctuations, if not, it will cause the display trap fluctuation. But if the amplitude of the display fluctuation at this time does not exceed the amplitude of the fluctuation voltage fluctuation, then the electron ruler is normal.

Ⅵ、The installation of linear displacement sensor needs to be very good for neutrality, but the parallelism can allow ± 0.5mm error, the Angle can allow ± error. But if the parallelism error and the Angle error are too large, the numbers will jump. So when such a situation occurs, the parallel degree and Angle must be adjusted.

Ⅶ、In the process of connection, we must pay more attention to the three lines of the electronic ruler can not be connected wrong, the power line and output line can not be exchanged. If the above line is wrong, there will be a large linear error, it is difficult to control, the accuracy of control will become very poor, and the display is easy to beat phenomenon and so on.
