Sometimes the requirements for angle error are not high, but sometimes the requirements are indeed very strict. In terms of angle error, in addition to the inherent properties of the sensor itself, there are also requirements for the installation method. The installation methods of inclination sensors can be roughly divided into three types: horizontal installation, horizontal inverted installation, and vertical installation (wall mounted).


Horizontal installation clearly means placing the tilt sensor horizontally on a flat surface, such as the ground or tabletop, while vertical installation means installing the tilt sensor on a stable surface perpendicular to the ground, such as a wall.

In general, products are manufactured with an ideal horizontal plane as the benchmark. If we only place them on a platform during use, there should be an angle output, that is, the plane is not a horizontal plane, which is a horizontal installation situation. When installed vertically (against the wall), it is theoretically the same as horizontal installation.
