达州Waterproof/explosion-proof/intrinsically safe series magnetostrictive (displacement/liquid level) sensors
Waterproof/explosion-proof/intrinsically safe series magnetostrictive (displacement/liquid level) sensors the principle is to generate a strain pulse signal when two different magnetic fields intersect, and then calculate the time period required for this signal to be detected to convert the exact position. The two magnetic fields are one from a permanent magnet in the magnetic ring and the other from an excitation pulse generated by the electronic component in the sensor bin. The excitation pulse operates at the speed of sound along a waveguide wire made with a magnetostrictive material inside the sensor. When crossing with the permanent magnetic field in the magnetic ring, the mechanical vibration generated by the waveguide wire forms a strain pulse due to the magnetostrictive phenomenon. The strain pulse is quickly detected by the sensing circuit in the electronic bin. From the time when the excitation pulse is generated to the total time when the strain pulse is detected multiplied by the fixed speed of sound, we can accurately calculate the position change of the magnet. This process is continuous, so that whenever the magnetic ring position changes, the new position is rapidly measured. Since the output signal is a true value, not proportional or needs to be reamplified, there is no signal drift or variation, let alone the need for regular remarking as in other sensors.
