Typical application cases

Case One: Closed-loop control of piston position in Hydraulic cylinders

In the electro-hydraulic servo control system, the MTL4C sensor measuring rod is internally installed through the reserved installation holes in the hydraulic cylinder. The magnetic ring is directly fixed on the piston of the hydraulic cylinder with screws, and real-time displacement measurement and position preset feedback are achieved along with the reciprocating motion of the piston.

The sensor feeds back the piston position signal to the PLC or servo controller to form a closed-loop control system, which is widely used in the displacement and stroke measurement of oil cylinders, hydraulic cylinders and pneumatic cylinders in fields such as construction machinery, industrial automation and hydraulic systems.

Case Two: Displacement Measurement of HydraulicCylinders for Gate Opening in Water Conservancy Projects

The Miran MTL series has been successfully applied to the displacement measurement of hydraulic cylinders for gate opening in water conservancy projects, with an effective stroke of 4.65 meters. The sensor is built into the hydraulic cylinder of the gate to monitor the opening displacement of the gate in real time, ensuring precise control of the operation of water conservancy facilities.

 

Case Three: Heavy Equipment and Special Oil cylinders Built-in

Based on the core technology of "built-in magnetostrictive displacement sensor", the MTL series sensors are installed inside the piston rod to precisely detect the displacement of the piston rod movement, and are used for quality control of special equipment such as hydraulic boosters.
